The kEIL ARM emulator is the latest emulator for RealView MDK launched by ARM, and is an upgraded version of ULink emulator. The kEIL ARM emulator not only has all the functions of the ULINK emulator, but also adds serial debugging (SWD) support, return clock support and real-time proxy functions. Development engineers can easily perform on-chip debugging (using on-chip JTAG, SWD and OCDS), Flash programming on the target hardware by combining the debugger of RealView MDK and the kEIL ARM emulator.
New features of kEIL ARM emulator:
Standard Windows USB driver supports ULINK2 plug and play
Supports serial debugging based on ARM Cortex-M3
Support memory read and write, terminal emulation and serial debugging output during program running
Support 10-pin cable (20-pin cable is also supported)
Main functions of kEIL ARM emulator:
USB communication interface to download user code at high speed
Storage area/register view
Fast single-step program operation
Multiple program breakpoints
On-chip Flash programming
